Yes, I vowed to keep the blog updated during this year’s travels, with a mental goal of once a month minimum. I’ve already blown that schedule, but I can explain!
We were visiting with friends in the Seattle area (Hi, Lisa! Hi, Mary!) and I wanted to show them something on the website…but then I discovered that the website is utterly unnavigable on a phone. When I got back home, I looked into the plugins I’d need to add, and learned that the PHP version I’m currently running the site on is way way WAY out of date (which I knew but was kinda working around) and none of the plugins I need to make the site useful would work.
I updated the PHP and immediately broke the site. Reverted, site works, but can’t use it on a phone. “Oh heck”, as I’m so wont to say.
I’ve reached out to my web host and have started going down rabbit holes to figure out how to fix this. I’m sketching out some updates in my head (and Evernote) and as soon as I have the technical stuff handled, I’ll be back at it. With luck, I’ll also be able to start posting videos, like the mountain stream Matt shot in the Hoh Rain Forest in Olympic National Park.
Fingers crossed, and we’re having a wonderful time already.

Happy you’ll be posting on here again. I live travels through you two! Thanks, be safe, have fun, see you soon.
Been wondering how it was going.
This is no reason, it’s an unreasonable crime – punished by hanging. But I can turn the other cheek if you give the colorful thing on Matt’s plate
I answered you on Reddit like three days ago!
OK carry on!
